1. Overview

This policy describes how we collect, use, and share information in connection with the Site when you contact us by email, if you opt in to SMS text messages from us, and if you use optional scheduling features that connect to Zoom. It is not a substitute for legal advice. If you engage us for professional services, separate agreements and confidentiality commitments may apply.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide. If you email us at contact@peak14.net, we receive your email address, the contents of your message, and any attachments you send.

SMS and text messages. If you enroll in our text messaging program, we collect the mobile telephone number you provide, proof of your consent (for example, where and when you opted in), and messages you send us (such as STOP, HELP, or replies) as needed to operate the program.

Technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider and infrastructure may automatically log technical information such as IP address, browser type, referring URL, and date/time of requests. We do not use this Site to knowingly collect sensitive categories of personal data.

Zoom-connected scheduling. If you choose to connect a Zoom account to Peak 14 scheduling or booking features, we receive and store data Zoom provides through its APIs as needed to operate that integration (for example, identifiers for your Zoom user or account, tokens used to call Zoom on your behalf, and meeting or conference details we create or surface when someone books with you). See section 11 for more detail.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

SMS subscribers. We use mobile numbers and related consent records only to deliver the text program you signed up for, send required transactional notices (for example subscription confirmations or instructions), honor opt-outs, respond to carrier or regulatory requirements, and troubleshoot delivery. We do not use your mobile number for unrelated marketing unless you have separately consented where that consent is required.

4. SMS program: third parties and marketing

We do not sell your mobile telephone number or SMS subscriber list. We do not share your SMS-related personal information with third parties for their own marketing, advertising, or promotional purposes. We may use subprocessors (such as a certified SMS platform or carrier partners) strictly to transmit and administer messages on our behalf, under agreements that limit them to providing those services and do not authorize them to use your data for their own marketing.

5. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers who assist us (for example, email, SMS delivery, or hosting) subject to appropriate safeguards, or when required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety. This is consistent with section 4 for SMS subscribers: such providers act on our instructions, not for independent third-party marketing.

6. Cookies and third-party services

The Site loads fonts from Google Fonts; Google may receive technical data such as your IP address as part of delivering those assets. See Google’s privacy documentation for details. We do not intentionally place advertising or analytics cookies on this Site as of the last updated date above; if that changes, we will update this policy.

7. Security and retention

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the nature of the information. Retention periods vary; for example, business email may be kept as needed for records and client engagements, unless you ask us to delete non-required copies where feasible.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to certain processing of personal information. To exercise rights or ask questions, contact us at contact@peak14.net.

9. International visitors

Peak 14 works with a distributed team and clients in multiple countries. Information may be processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where we or our providers operate.

10. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

11. Peak 14 Scheduler and Zoom

This section applies when you use Peak 14’s scheduling or booking product and connect Zoom. Zoom Video Communications, Inc. and its affiliates process much of the underlying meeting data under their own terms and privacy policy; we encourage you to read Zoom’s privacy statement.

What we use Zoom data for. We use information from Zoom APIs only to deliver the features you requested—typically to create or retrieve meeting links and related conference details for appointments confirmed through Peak 14, maintain the connection until you revoke it, and troubleshoot issues you report.

Sharing. We do not sell personal information associated with Zoom. We share data with Zoom when their APIs require it to provide the integration. Hosting and infrastructure providers may store encrypted application data consistent with section 5.

Retention and removal. We retain Zoom-related records as needed to operate scheduling and backups, consistent with section 7, or until you disconnect the integration or ask us to delete information where feasible. Disconnecting Peak 14 from Zoom in our product or revoking access in Zoom may limit future use but may not erase historical logs or backups immediately.

12. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects material changes unless stated otherwise. Continued use of the Site after updates means you accept the revised policy.
